SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – A “speed-networking” game, wine tasting and food catered by a number of area restaurants will be featured at the South Orange Chamber of Commerce holiday event at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the South Orange Performing Arts Center.
Chamber President Kenneth Cucchia announced in an email that the holiday gathering will provide an opportunity for local entrepreneurs and business owners to network in a unique way. “Long story short, you sit and chat for five minutes, exchange cards and move on to the next person,” he said. “Sounds fun, right?”
He said Saturday that he is expecting more than 100 people to attend. Tickets are $20 and will be available at the door.
Guests will be entertained by holiday choir music and a performance by students from the Maria Priadka School of Dance.
Buffet-style dining includes food from Harusame Japanese Cuisine, Bunny's Sports Bar, Above Restaurant, Eden Marketplace, Valley Portuguese BBQ, Village Pizzeria, Love & Yogurt, the Blue Plate Special, Lalibela Ethiopian Cuisine and Papillon 25.
