Unity of Montclair Invites the Public to a Unique Hike

Unity of Montclair invites the public to a unique and spiritual hike on June 4, 2011 at the South Mountain Reservation in South Orange, NJ. Join us as we enjoy the beauty of nature while we raise money for Unity of Montclair and other charities, including: The Japan Society, a non-profit raising money to help victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan; and the efforts to stop youth bullying in New Jersey Schoolsl ed by Garden State Equality.

Join us for a family-friendly hike in the beautiful forest of The South Mountain Reservation, for a brief 3/4 mile nature walk to the peaceful Hemlock Falls.

Members and friends of our diverse, positive, practical,progressive spiritual community will be on hand to offer a wonderful QiGong class and music.

If you would like to help us raise money, please join us for our hike on June 4th. You may also have others pledge donations to support your walk.

Check in begins at 8:30 am.

9:15 am: Enjoy a QiGong Class. QiGong is an ancient form of Chinese physical and spiritual exercise (similar to Tai Chi), noted for its many health benefits.

10:00 am. - Hike approximately 3/4 mile with a stop at the scenic Hemlock Falls.

Noon: Enjoy a picnic lunch provided by Unity Church of Montclair, its members and the business sponsors, including musical entertainment and a drumming circle participatory session.

Registration is $25 for adults; $10 for seniors and children under 12. Price includes lunch, QiGong class, drumming circle session, a free give-away and musical entertainment.

Unity of Montclair is a spiritual community fostering a positive, practical and progressive philosophy. Though this is a Christian based spiritual community, members from all faiths are welcome.
