Life has always been an adventure for Meg Peterson of Maplewood and she will talk about her worldwide adventures at the January 15th meeting of the Summit Old Guard. She has been an author, world trekker, playwright and an essayist. She wrote “Madam, Have You Ever Been Really Happy?“ about her adventures when she was worldwide trekking in Nepal, Egypt, Kenya and Sweden. Her presentation at the New Providence Municipal Center will feature slides of the many places that she visited. All of this started after a divorce from 33 years of marriage. She has made two around-the-world solo backpacking trips. Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor and New York Newsday.
