HOLMDEL, NJ: There is a special 911 Memorial in Holmdel for all to see and remember. Members of the Saint John Vianney High School Military Support Club, together with the Junior class, created a memorial for the victims of the September 11, 2001 Terror Attack.  Students placed 2,977 flags in the ground in front of the school, one for each person who lost their life precious life on that day. Each name was spoken, as the students also read the victims’ names as they placed each flag. The memorial they created is a beautiful tribute to the victims and also a reminder of the sacrifices so many made in the rescue and recovery efforts. You can drive by to see the remembrance display, at Saint John Vianney High School, 540A Line Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733. For more information about SJV, click here.
