Avery Pawlak, junior at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, has launched a fundraiser benefiting the patients of St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and the frontline healthcare workers of Monmouth Medical Center.

In a time of desperation and the world’s focus on Covid-19, Pawlak has realized cancer centers may not be receiving the proper amount of donations. She has taken the initiative to partner with Doughology of Atlantic Highlands under their “Operation Halo” program to sell 16 unique flavors of gourmet donuts to raise money.

Lisa Spinella, owner of Atlantic Highlands Doughology, says, “Since our inception five year ago, we’ve been dedicated to helping those in need. Donuts are a great way to do that!”
