Maurice Schwartz, first opened the dealership in 1919 at the intersection of West Front Street and Pearl Street and sold Willy’s Knights and Whippets autos.

Maurice handed down the business to his son Arnold, who then passed to his sons Jim, Jon and Ken.

Jim and Jon were the managing partners when Jim tragically succumbed to stomach cancer in 2015.

In the year 2000, the business found a new home on Shrewsbury Avenue and the 4th generation has been brought into the business.

Third generation Jon Schwartz is in the process of passing the torch to his son Jay who is young, innovative, and fun!  Jay also enjoys taking the time to thank customers for coming in and allowing them to earn their business.

Loyal customers and their families have been patronizing the dealership for generations and referring their friends and family members because of the level of service they receive and the comfortable atmosphere they experience.

Service customers can use the company computers, relax with beverages and snacks, or get a little kneading in one of the massage chairs.

Keeping a happy and satisfied staff is key to a successful business.  A staff luncheon is held monthly where employees are recognized and appreciated for their value to the company.

Many employees have been with the dealership for over ten years.  Others, longer.

"Without the employees Schwartz Mazda would not be where we are now.  Our employees and the way they take care of our customers that has kept Schwartz Mazda alive so long.  We want every employee to actually enjoy coming to work and I believe we all do, said jay Schwartz.
