MIDDLETOWN, NJ:  On Wednesday, May 8th Mayor Tony Perry, the Middletown Township Committee and Freeholder Director Tom Arnone hosted a Small Business Roundtable at the Middletown Arts Center. It was a free event open to all local small businesses to participate.

Nearly thirty local business attended to exchange ideas, discuss improvements, learn more about the Township's partnership with the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce and to network with fellow business owners. Many great connections were made.

Mayor Tony Perry and Freeholder Director Tom Arnone led the discussion while Deputy Mayor Tony Fiore and Freeholders Gerry Scharfenberger and Sue Kiley spoke on their areas of expertise. Officials from Middletown Township and Monmouth County were also on hand to answer any questions. 

Mayor Tony Perry thanked everyone who participated in the roundtable commenting, " Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and we are thrilled to have such a thriving business community in Middletown!"
