“You’ve been a great ambassador to the Red Bank business community, putting us in the best possible light.  More than anything Jim, we all respect you because you’re such a great person,” said Stephen Catania, Chairman of the RiverCenter’s Board of Directors.

A beautiful plaque was presented to Scavone, that read, “Thank you for your Exceptional Leadership, Visionary Guidance, Extraordinary Patience, and Unconditional Commitment to the Business Community.”

Scavone thanked the audience, saying, “It really touches my heart to know that all of you took the time to come out and wish me well.  This is a very bittersweet move for me.  My time at RiverCenter has been very special to me and the past nine years has taught me so much.  The opportunity to meet, get to know and work with all of you has been very, very special, and I thank you all.”
