MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ: The Colts Neck Business Associaton (CNBA) is always hosting interesting speakers. The June 12th meeting was a great example of that.  The presenter was motivational speaker, businesswoman, mom of a pediatric cancer survivor, author, survivor of domestic abuse; Tara Geraghty.

The CNBA hosted a BODO book signing (buy one donate one to a hospital) for Geraghty's new book that only a pediatric cancer mom could write: Making Cancer Fun, a book that is sure to help countless families battling the unthinkable-pediatric cancer. Geraghty's daughter in 2009 was diagnosed with high-risk stage 4 neuroblastoma. Her daughter is today a 13 year old, 10 year cancer survivor and Geraghty is dedicated to helping others cope with the devastating experience of pediatric cancer. Geraghty fought her daughter's cancer with fun and she wants to share her coping tools with anyone in the same situation. Geraghty is committed to giving hope where there is often despair, bringing light to many.

In her talk to the guests, Geraghty shared powerful tools for helping anyone get through difficult situations. These valuable tools can be applied to both personal and work situations. Everyone stayed engaged during her motivational talk and when she was finished many stayed after to speak with this dynamic businesswoman. CNBA board member Kymberley Mate commented, "Tara Geraghty is so inspiring, everyone should hear her speak. We loved hosting her here today and everyone commented how amazing she was."
