Red Bank Tiffany & Company Board’s Up Windows
RED BANK, NJ: In a possible response to the violence that followed the peaceful protest demonstrations in honor of Minnesota police brutality victim George Floyd, Tiffany and Company has boarded up their windows at their Broad Street location.
The action comes as high-end retail neighbors such as Cartier, Versace and Saks Fifth Avenue, along the famed Fifth Avenue shopping stretch in Manhattan, covered their windows with plywood sheets as though a hurricane were on the way.
TAPinto Red Bank reached out to the Tiffany’s corporate headquarters for comment but did not receive an immediate response.
The borough will be holding an online "Safety in Collaboration" discussion this Thursday, June 4.
The forum will specifically focus on concerns and issues as they relate to recent national events.
