NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - From Fortune 500 communications professional to owning her own local news business, TAPinto franchise owner Jeanne Wall has seen it all.
Now, after experiencing success in her first two TAPinto franchise locations in Holmdel/Colts Neck and Middletown, Wall is moving forward again, launching TAPinto Hazlet/Keyport, her third TAPinto Franchise in Monmouth County, N.J.
Wall said it was out of passion for the areas she serves that led her to seek expansion into the northeastern corner of Monmouth County, N.J.
“I wanted to expand for two main reasons: I wanted to duplicate the readership and financial success of my first site, in addition to providing a much-needed community service of delivering true local objective news in the towns I expanded into,” she said.
Wall launched her first site in 2017 with TAPinto Holmdel/Colts Neck and has since grown to cover three more towns across two additional franchises: TAPinto Middletown and TAPinto Hazlet/Keyport.
For Wall, delivering local news through TAPinto is her full time job - one that her unique career allowed her to step into seamlessly following a career as a Fortune 500 communications and public relations expert.
“I wrote communication plans and secured interviews with C-level executives from Fortune 500 companies and major national media outlets,” she said. “We also performed a lot of crisis management work for major corporations and celebrities. Today, I am the owner of HomeTown News LLC, a female owned business.”
This newest venture is Wall’s second time expanding her network, launching TAPinto Hazlet/Keyport in late Fall 2020 following her first expansion, TAPinto Middletown, two years ago.
Wall said communication skills put in a position to succeed because she can connect with anyone.
“I love to converse and I love to hear someone’s story,” she said. “Everyone has a story. I also like to help people and that includes my advertisers. I do everything that I can to make sure they are receiving a high level of customer service because I want my clients to realize their ROI and I want them to succeed, so it comes naturally. I listen to what my clients are saying and I make sure I stay connected with them always.”
