Since the summer of 2006, Jazz Arts Project has been presenting straight-ahead swinging classic jazz to audiences throughout the Greater South/Central NJ region.  This ever popular series has presented such luminaries in the jazz world as Bucky Pizzarelli, Buster Williams, Claudio Roditi, Steve Turre, Warren Vaché, Dave Valentin,

Paul Meyers, Tony DeSare, Champian Fulton, Jay Leonhart, Aaron Weinstein, Cecil Brooks III, Valery Ponomarev, Wayne Escoffery, The Les Paul Trio, Wallace Roney, the Mingus Dynasty, and many others.  This year, once again, promises to be a treasure trove of great artistry.

Audiences, artists, and critics alike rave about Summer Jazz Café, citing an excellent atmosphere, great acoustics, and consistently high level of artistry as reasons to return.  This series has been named a "Pick of the Year" by the Tri-City News.

You'll be seated at cozy candle-lit cocktail tables with coffee, tea and delectable treats available from our jazz café.  These will surely be the most exciting and romantic evenings you will spend all summer. Save the dates and reserve your tickets early as we do expect capacity crowds again this year.

For tickets contact the Two River Theatre Box Office at (732) 345-1400 or visit  https://tworivertheater.org/summerjazz/

Crisis Nursery opens: Nearly 100,000 reports of alleged child abuse filed annually in NJ

For many years, Lynn Hawkins has wanted to start a home for children who were at risk of abuse and neglect. After working with abused children in Texas she knew she wanted to help children in her own community. When her daughter, Quadhera Simmons, grew and had the same dream they decided it was time to take action. They were tired of hearing stories of children suffering and even dying.
