Bell Works  Announces New Tenants:  Renaissance Pilates + Wellness, Justin’s Barbershop, Jersey Freeze and The Gathering Shops!

HOLMDEL, N.J. Somerset Development announced that four new retailers are opening on “The Block at Bell Works”—  the metroburb’s thriving ground-floor ‘pedestrian street,’ which offers a unique selection of restaurants, shopping, community services, and much more.

Bell Works is open for the public to enjoy, and has become a community gathering destination with many social areas for business meetings, lunch with friends, indoor exercise walking, etc.

The latest businesses joining the Bell Works community are: Renaissance Pilates + Wellness, a state-of-the-art pilates, wellness and lifestyle center (that opened last month); Justin’s Barbershop, a local brand featuring an elite team of expert barbers; Jersey Freeze, a regional eatery serving homemade ice cream and cakes along with burgers and sandwiches; and The Gathering Shops, a retail service bureau that features rotating collections from emerging apparel designers lacking a brick-and-mortar or online presence.

Renaissance Pilates + Wellness, is a pilates studio founded by fitness innovator, visionary and Holmdel-native Danielle Buccellato. With another location in Red Bank, N.J., the new venue at Bell Works is a result of Danielle’s new business partnership and venture with her sister, Joelle Buccellato. The wellness space will feature an array of fitness classes for beginners to advanced athletes, offering a truly immersive wellness experience for employees at Bell Works and members of the community. Their wellness offerings include cutting edge technology like whole body cryotherapy, Cryoskin, infrared and oxygen therapies. 

Justin’s Barbershop, is also set to open on ‘The Block’ and the famous Jersey Freeze, a local restaurant that originated in Freehold, N.J., will open its second location along 'The Block' at Bell Works. Visitors and employees at Bell Works will be able to enjoy gourmet ice cream, homemade cakes, and an assortment of shakes that have helped establish Jersey Freeze as a regional favorite.

Also coming soon is The Gathering Shops, a retail service company that is putting a spin on the traditional “pop-up” concept across apparel, jewelry, beauty, wellness and home goods. This collective retail concept provides emerging designers with a fully furnished, fully staffed retail space. The Gathering Shops will host various designers and brands within the store on a rotating monthly basis, giving consumers a new shopping experience with every visit. 

Dining options at Bell Works incluce The Hummus & Pita Co., offering homemade fresh Mediterranean cuisine; Bell Market, a food hall which features fresh baked goods, made-to-order salads, poke bowls, sushi rolls, customizable subs and deli sandwiches, as well as brick-oven baked pizza and bread; Mexican restaurant Estrella Azul; and Italian restaurant Mezza Luna.

  • Alchemist Jewelers: a locally-based purveyor of custom designed and manufactured jewelry. 

  • @ Your Convenience: a store offering a variety of everyday items, including snacks, select groceries, toiletries, gift items, newspapers, and more.

  • The Bar Method: a boutique fitness studio offering a variety of thoughtfully curated body-weight exercises and cardio-based classes, including smart and personal barre workouts at various levels— from beginner to advanced. 

  • Booskerdoo Coffee & Baking Co,  a proud micro-roaster of fine coffee offering pastries and other baked goods. 

  • City Barn | Country Penthouse:a store offering home, bed, bath, and other gift items, in addition to home design consultation services.

  • Dimension Dental: a premier dental support organization with a network of locations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

  • Escapology: it’s second New Jersey location at Bell Works offers a real-life escape game experience challenging up to eight players to work together to find clues, solve puzzles and pick locks that will free them from a game room. 

  • Holmdel Florist: a gourmet food and floral gift provider for all occasions.

  • Holmdel Public Library: the community library and learning center features an extensive collection of books and periodicals and offers free WiFi, computer workstations, break-out rooms and classroom space. 

  • Montessori School: a new facility offering early childhood education within a social learning environment which supports and respects each child’s unique development.
