Below is a letter to the community from Bell Works:

Hi Bell Works Tenants, Employees and Visitors,

Sign Up for Middletown Newsletter
Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.

Each day we are learning more about the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and we share your concerns about the evolving nature of this issue.

As the news continues to unfold, it’s important that our Bell Works community knows that our commitment to safety and cleanliness is unwavering and that our team is closely monitoring the situation.

We’re continuing to follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and various local, state, and national Public Health and government officials. Accordingly, we are implementing best practices designed to minimize risk for exposure to COVID-19 in our Bell Works community.

Bell Works is closed to the general public and access is restricted to tenants only using a Bell Works issued access card. Those with a Bell Works issued access card must enter through the main entrance at the front of the building. The building is open from 6am through 8pm until further notice.

The CDC continues to cite social distancing as the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and in response, we will be taking the following steps:

The Bell Works shuttle service will stop operating starting this Friday, 3/20.
All events are postponed effective immediately and will last until further notice, including our weekly Bell Works Fresh Market and the planned March Madness basketball tournament.

Seating areas in food establishments are closed; all other seating areas are limited to small groups and will be sanitized regularly.  We have added new members to our cleaning staff, and this team will be using hospital-grade disinfectant to frequently wipe down shared surfaces throughout Bell Works.

Many of our retailers are closed, but the following are open for business for internal tenants:

At Your Convenience will be open and consistent with our building hours.
Dimension Dental will be open by appointment only for their patients.
Swing Loose Golf will be open from 10am - 8pm.
Alchemist Jewelers is open by appointment only for their clients.
The Gathering Shops will be open 11am - 3pm, but offer their online shopping experience 24/7 at TheGatheringShops.com
Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theatre will be providing their dance classes online for the safety of all of their students.
Bell Market will be available for lunch take-out only, from 11am - 1pm, with a limited online menu.

Bell Works would like to wholeheartedly thank our community for their interest in supporting and caring for each other during these difficult times.

COVID-19 is canceling a lot, but it can’t cancel our strong community, our love for Bell Works, and our ability to live fulfilling lives.

The well being, health and safety of tenants and employees is of utmost importance to Bell Works. If you are feeling sick or have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 please consider others and do not enter Bell Works.

Thank you,
The Bell Works Team
