Jackie Berman to Speak on Identity Theft at the January Meeting of St. Mary’s Martha Mary Guild
Identity theft is on the rise! What can we do to protect our identities? Nobody wants to be a victim of the cyber criminals, but nobody keeps digital hygiene properly. Over 150 million people each year are victims of identity theft. Cyber Monday is no longer a 24 hour event, it's a marathon and hackers are at work finding new ways to grab your money! Come to the Martha Mary Guild meeting on Wed. Jan. 8 and learn how to spot the most significant risks and be proactive and protect your identity. You will leave with knowledge on everyday things you can do.
Jackie Berman, pictured above, has been an IDShield Associate since 2016 and has been a local speaker on identity theft around the state of New Jersey. She helps individuals and companies prepare for identity theft through monitoring and full restoration in all areas of identity theft. Every 2 seconds a person's identity is stolen. Identity thieves don't just want your money, they want you!!! Her presentations educate you to protect yourself. Jackie has been lucky enough to interview Frank Abagale, “Catch Me If You Can" and has learned from the best and most famous Identity Thief. She is a member of Colts Neck Business Association, Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce, Matawan Chamber of Commerce, just to name a few. She has spoken on the subject of identity theft at all her organizations, plus senior centers, women's clubs and schools.
