The vote count changed a little bit as Liu picked up two more votes since the last recount.

So, the candidates are Mayor Eric Hinds and Chiung-Yin Cheng Liu.

Liu, should she win in November, will be the first asian-american woman to be elected to the Holmdel Township Committee in the history of Holmdel.

Monmouth County Republican Chairman Shaun Golden shared his view, "With all votes counted, we would like to again congratulate our GOP candidates. Eric is a tremendous leader as Mayor and we know Ms. Liu will serve the community of Holmdel well."
