MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Freedom isn't free. Men and Women sacrificed their lives to fight for America and each Memorial Day, towns across the country say Thank You. In patriotic Middletown New Jersey, they did just that. The American Legion Post 338 and Middletown Township welcomed residents to come together for the Annual Memorial Day Parade to honor those who have served our country.
The parade began at 10:00 AM at Bayshore Middle School, 834 Leonardville Road, Leonardo and continued to Appleton Avenue to Center Avenue to Brevent Avenue. They turnes right onto Highland Avenue, left on Leonard Avenue and right on Viola Avenue to The American Legion Post 338 home on Route 36.
