RED BANK, NJ – To quote the Bard: “If music be the food of love, play on.”
The Red Bank RiverCenter, the downtown business community and major sponsor Hackensack Meridian Health Riverview Medical Center, will be presenting The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) at Marine Park at 8:00pm on Sunday, June 30th.
This is a great way to end the month and kick-off the Independence Week. Marine Park is one of the most beautiful spots in New Jersey, with a breathtaking view of the Navesink River.
The music will be from a unique set of composers ranging from Leonard Bernstein, José Pablo Moncayo, Astor Piazzolla, Florence Price, Duke Ellington to George Gershwin.
You’ll listen to hits from “West Side Story” and “Porgy and Bess.” The NJSO will take you south of the border with the Mexican composer Arturo Márquez’s and hear his “Conga del Fuego Nuevo.” Patriotic favorites will include Aaron Copeland’s classic “Hoe Down” from “Rodeo.” Click on the links to hear a few minutes of each.
Come early, set up your blanket or lawn chair and listen to the music of Kul d’Sack who will play from 6:00pm till 7:45pm. You can cruise and peruse the boutique shops of downtown Red Bank, have a sit-down dinner or pick up a take-out meal to bring to the concert.

This one-of-a-kind musical performance being held with a spectacular view of the river and will be a great time for family and friends.
