LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ — A potentially record-breaking boat rally took place on Saturday at the Jersey Shore. Beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Toms River, the September 5th parade consisted of about 2,000 boats flying American, Trump and police support flags.

There was a great deal of enthusiasm by the boaters and the onlookers. On the Route 72 bridge in Manahawkin, a few hundred people gathered in support of the parade. There also were a few peaceful protesters.

Organized by "Jersey Shore Boaters, L.E.O. (Law Enforcement Officers) Support & Vets for Trump," the event was started by Chris Molla and Stafford Township Councilman George Williams.

A 2014 boat parade in Malaysian with 1,080 vessels currently holds the Guinness World Record for the largest event of its kind.
