Obituary for Julianna M. "Lang" Lewis
Julianna (JuJu) Marie Lang Lewis, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, on her 15th birthday after a long, hard-fought, courageous battle with a rare form of bone cancer. She was surrounded by her family at Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey.
Julianna was born on November 27, 2004 in Red Bank, New Jersey. She attended school in Keansburg until she moved to Hazlet, where she attended Hazlet Middle School. She was currently a Freshman at Raritan High School.
Julianna loved to play volleyball, take walks and ride bikes with her friends. But most importantly, she loved to do her hair, make-up and nails. Julianna was loving, caring and had an infectious smile. Although her past year had been an ongoing, agonizing battle with chemotherapy and surgeries, she always continued to keep a positive attitude and her beautiful smile.
Julianna is survived by her loving Mother, Lisa Lang; Grandmother, Eileen Lang; Aunt, Susan Lang; Uncle, John Lang; and Aunt, Cindy Lang. Julianna leaves behind Cousins, Alexandra Lang, Caitlyn Lang and Rachel Lang, whom she loved like her very own sisters. Julianna is also survived by her Father, John Lewis; Sister, Caitlyn Lewis; and Brother, Justin Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to help with arrangements and expenses.
