MIDDLETOWN, NJ - Community relations hit a high note in Middletown last week as the police and emergency services folks gathered with members of the community for an annual event - National Night Out.
According to the township, Middletown Township celebrated its 3rd Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6th at Poricy Park Nature Center. National Night Out is an annual campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and is a chance for residents to engage with the officers in a fun and informal way.
The Middletown Township First Responders also featured equipment displays and had a great time interacting with the kids. “Hundreds of residents came out and enjoyed live music played by Patrolman Jesse Toma, games, a dunk tank, an impaired driving simulator, contests and more!” Stated the township Release. “A big thank you to Community Relations Officer Ricardo Cruz for organizing the event and to all our community groups and state law enforcement agencies who participated.”
