MIDDLETOWN, NJ: Kick Cancer Overboard (KCO), an organization founded to provide free cruises to families whose lives have been turned upside down by cancer, hosted their annual Bon Voyage event at the private residence of Tom and DonnaLyn Zapcic. The event was held May 19th from 4:00pm-6:00pm and was a grand slam success with live music provided by Dale and Amy Acoustic Duet. Guests enjoyed delicious bites, yard games, and so much more.

The event is an annual gathering for the KCO Cruisers to have a chance to meet and mingle before the ship sails in June to Bermuda. The 2019 send off was for 100 cruisers readyng for their 'free to sea' experience. Mingling at the Zapcics was a perfect prelude to the sail off and it was a success.

Co-founder of Kick Cancer Overboard Donnlyn Zapcic comments, "We are a 501c3 organization and have sent over 330 folks affected by cancer to Bermuda for a week of happy memory making. Instead of packing their bags for the hospital stays and doctor's visits, they are packing to laugh and enjoy life for a change. This is all thanks to our sponsors, supporters and leadership team."

As Kick Cancer Overboard states on their website, "Our mission is to give Free Cruises to people, who have been affected by cancer. To offer them a break for a few days, so the most important question is not how to pay for their next medical bill, but whether to play bingo, get a massage or sing karaoke."
