MIDDLETOWN, NJ:  Kamani Williams (Middletown North High School) was a junior forward for the College of Saint Elizabeth (Morristown, NJ) women’s basketball team. Williams, listed as an Education major, started in all 26 games and led her team with 278 rebounds (10.7 rebounds per game) and was second on the team with 15 blocks. She averaged 11.0 points per game with 49 steals and four assists.

The Eagles had an overall record of 19-7 with a mark of 11-3 on their home court. In the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) they posted a mark of 15-3. They advanced to the CSAC Tournament where they defeated Notre Dame (Maryland) before losing to Keystone in the championship contest. Williams was a CSAC Player of the Week on multiple occasions this past season.

David Gervase (Middletown South High School) was a sophomore guard on the roster of the Drew University (Madison, NJ) men’s basketball team. Gervase played in 24 games and started in three of them for Drew. He averaged 6.3 points per game, with 49 rebounds, 12 steals and 10 assists.

The Rangers had an overall record of 21-7 with a mark of 13-4 at home. In the Landmark Conference they posted a mark of 11-3. They lost to Scranton in the semifinal round of the Landmark Conference Championship Tournament. From there, the Rangers advanced to the Eastern College Athletic Conference Tournament where they were defeated in the semifinal round by Rutgers-Newark.

Caleigh Mcanuff (Middletown North High School) was a sophomore guard for the Ramapo College (Mahwah, NJ) women’s basketball program. Mcanuff, listed as a Finance major, played in 17 games and had 17 assists and three steals for Ramapo.

The Roadrunners tallied 10 overall victories, with mark of 6-6 on their home court. In the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) they had four wins.  

Richie Koehler (Middletown/Christian Brothers Academy) was a redshirt freshman competitor in the 133 pound weight class for the Rider University (Lawrenceville, NJ) wrestling program. Koehler had an overall record of 15-8 and placed second at the Princeton Open and third at the Keystone Classic.

The Broncs collected an overall dual meet record of 12-3 with a mark of 3-2 on their home mat. In the Mid American Conference (MAC) they went 7-1. They placed fourth in the team scoring at the MAC Championships held in DeKalb, Illinois.

 Katherine Scott (Middletown South High School) was on the roster as a senior competitor in butterfly and individual medley events for the Rutgers University women’s swimming and diving program. Scott is listed as a Labor and Employment Relations major.

Rachel Hannah (Middletown South High School) was a freshman who competed in freestyle and backstroke events for The College of New Jersey women’s swimming and diving program. Hannah placed third in the 100 freestyle and fourth in the 100 backstroke at the Metropolitan Championships held in New Brunswick. She was a part of the victorious 400 free relay team at the Metropolitan Championships.

The Lions placed second in the team scoring at the Metropolitan Championships.
