On November 21, 2018 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 21 year old Latifah Williams of Brooklyn concealed 14 articles in a bag and on her person valued at $392.00 and left the store without making payment. A 16 year old female from East Orange concealed 16 articles in a bag and on her person valued at $377.00 and left the store without making payment. Both individuals were placed under arrest and found to have additional stolen property from the Forever 21 and Victoria Secrets stores. Both individuals were issued summonses and released.

On November 23, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report a black female wearing a black jacket, black pants, black shoes, and carrying a beige bag and Nordstrom bags, concealed 2 La Mer products in her bag and left the store without making payment. A second black female wearing a black hat, black jacket, black pants, black shoes, and carrying a brown purse concealed 3 La Mer products in a bag and left the store without making payment. The total value of the products was $1305.00. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau. 

On November 24, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Goldfarb responded to a Mohawk Rd residence on a motor vehicle theft report. The victim reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s took her 2005 Subaru Forester from the driveway, leaving 2 bicycles on the front lawn. The bicycles were reported stolen from a Birch Lane resident who also reports his son’s 2004 Subaru Legacy was burglarized in the driveway, however nothing appeared to be missing. Both incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On November 24, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to Qdoba at The Mall at Short Hills on a forgery report. Qdoba personnel report 30 year old Aaron Hockaday of Brick attempted to pass a counterfeit $20.00 bill. Mr. Hockaday was found to have an outstanding Newark criminal warrant and was placed under arrest. Mr. Hockaday was released with a new court date.

On November 24, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Manuyag responded to a Shawnee Rd residence on a burglary to motor vehicles report. The victim reports between 2:50-3:10 am unknown actor/s entered his 2017 Ford Explorer and 2016 GMC Arcadia in the driveway taking $50.00 cash and approximately $30.00 in change. . The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau. 

On November 24, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Catinella responded to a Forest Drive residence on a burglary to motor vehicles report. The victim reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered her 2018 Lexus ES and 2019 Subaru CRT in the driveway possibly taking some change. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau. 

On November 25, 2018 Millburn Police Officer O’Neill stopped 57 year old Reinaldo Morales of Irvington in the mall for shoplifting out of Macys. The investigation led to the arrest of Mr. Morales who concealed $1335.21 worth of merchandise in a bag and left the store without making payment. Mr. Morales was charged with shoplifting, trespassing, and contempt and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On November 26, 2018 Millburn Police Officer Royce responded to a Dorison Drive residence on a motor vehicle theft report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s took her 2016 BMW X6 from the driveway. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
