FLORHAM PARK, NJ - In it's weekly survey of gasoline prices, AAA reports that the average price of a gallon of gasoline in New Jersey is up five cents over last week.
Today's average is $2.59. It is 11 cents higher than a month ago ($2.48) and 33 cents higher than this same time last year ($2.26).
Gas prices are on the rise throughout the region as well. The average price of gas in Connecticut is $2.72, up two cents from one week ago ($2.70). Drivers in New York are paying an average of $2.70, up four cents from last week ($2.66), while Pennsylvania drivers are paying an average of $2.79, up five cents from last week ($2.74).
