MILLBURN, NJ - According to the Millburn Police department, an assault occured at Oscar's Deli in downtown Millburn today.

Lt. Blazinski of the Millburn Police Department confirmed to TAPinto Millburn this afternoon that the specific incident happened and that it took place at the afformentiontioned location. However, no other details could be revealed, as they would impact the ability of officers in the department to conduct a thorough investigation.

The incident, which occured around 2:30 p.m. was witnessed by several people in the area at the time. While their accounts have not been corroborated, the incident apparently involved one suspect and one victim in the deli itself. Eyewitnesses also said the suspect had been brought into custody, but those details were not confirmed by the police department at press time.
