MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn baseball team defeated Columbia for the fourth time this season, 2-1, in the opening round of the NJSIAA Section 2, Group 4 state tournament on Tuesday.

Mike Kologlu pitched a five-hitter and Connor Lally accounted for both runs with a two-run double in the fourth inning, when the Millers (21-5) overcame a 1-0 deficit.

Kologlu struck out five batters and walked one for Millburn, which finished with only four hits against Pete Nolet of Columbia (10-12). Nolet struck out three batters and walked two.
