MILLBURN, NJ - Millburn broke a tie with a run in the fifth inning and went on to a 3-2 baseball victory over Nutley on Monday.

Richie Schiekofer singled in a run in the fifth to give Millburn (10-2) a 3-2 lead. The left-handed hitting center fielder's hit was one of only three for the Millers all game. But that was enough offense for the Millburn pitching combination odf Kyle Mazer and Mike Kologlu. Mazer (4-0, 0.47 ERA) allowed one earned run and six hits in five innings, striking out eight and walking none, and Kologlu picked up the save with two perfect innings of relief.

Peter Gula had a single and scored all three runs for Millburn, which scored its other runs in the first and third innings.
