MILLBURN, NJ -Local Author, Millburn resident and bookstore owner Nadege Nicoll, welcomes children’s book author, Billy Baldwin, of Sag Harbor, to share his wonderful picture book “Wipeout The Wave” at her new book store, The Book House at 281 Essex Street in Millburn, NJ. 

Local children ages 4 to 9, are invited with their parents to come to the store on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 4pm for a book reading along with milk and cookies. The stories are geared to children from Kindergarten to third grade, but parents are welcome to bring children of all ages to enjoy this hour of reading and relaxing in this charming bookstore.

Author Billy Baldwin, grew up in Short Hills and spent most of his youth in town, before heading to The Pingry School and later graduating from Trinity Pauling. He has been writing books for many years and has penned three well-received picture books that can be found on and will also be for sale in the store. In 2017 his book “The Last Leaf” won a Silver Moonbeam Award for Children's Picture Books.

At his first reading in Millburn, he will be serving milk & cookies and signing copies of his picture book, “Wipeout The Wave” at The Book House in Millburn, NJ, in June 16th at 4 pm. You can also purchase his other two picture books while at the store. "The Last Leaf" and "the Cookie that Saved Christmas"

Creator of numerous stories for Children & Young Adults, The self-confessed daydreamer, Billy Baldwin lives in Sag Harbor, NY. Following his passions and gifts, Billy began his career by founding a Cookie company called Cookie Island. More than just producing delicious Cookies that sold throughout the US, Billy marketed his products through stories, characters and graphics that caught the attention of executives from the Children’s entertainment industry. 

When encouraged to develop his marketing vision into Children’s books and products Billy founded Decozen Publishing and began a new career as a writer.
