MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn boys basketball team won its opening game of the season, 40-36, over Christ The King Prep on Friday night.

Ross Gang broke a tie with a layup off his own steal with nine seconds left to give the Millers a 38-36 lead. Gang scored again after another steal five seconds later to extend the Millburn lead to four points.

Gang finished with a team-high 21 points. Matt Bernstein chipped in with seven points for Millburn, which led, 24-15, at halftime before Christ The King rallied in the third quarter.
