SPRINGFIELD, NJ - The Millburn boys basketball team repeated as champions of the Joe Pepe Tournament at Dayton High School.
Millburn defeated host school Dayton, 63-39, Friday evening to take the title of the two-day, four-team event.
Ross Gang had a game-high 28 points and Matt Bernstein added 13 points in the victory.

For Millburn (5-1), it was the program's fifth consecutive holiday tournament title. In 2013, the Millers captured the Chatham Cougar Classic, in 2014 and 2015 the Millers won the Glen Ridge Invitational Tourney and in 2016 and 2017 Millburn has added the tournament trophies in Springfield.
For the second consecutive year, Gang was named the most valuable player for the tourney while Bernstein also was named to the all-tournament team. Gang scored 54 points in the two games while also adding 25 rebounds.
