BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The Berkeley Heights YMCA is looking for high school volunteers to help with summer camp. Volunteers are a vital part of the YMCA organization, as their generosity and kindness in donating their time and efforts are forever engrained in the experiences of our members and the community.
This summer, volunteers will be able to work with young children and help with arts and crafts, sports and games, story time, and other special activities. By volunteering your time, you will not only be able to satisfy any volunteer hour requirements you may need, but also gain valuable experience in learning how summer camps are run, how to be a positive role model for impressionable children, and much more. Your help and presence help mold the futures of children in a fun, safe environment through play, discovery, and social interactions.
Volunteers are especially needed during the morning hours, and opportunities to volunteer are available throughout the summer (June 27 – September 2).
During the school year, volunteers are needed after school, from 2:30-6:00pm, Monday-Friday. Volunteer today!
