SUMMIT, NJ - Keller Williams (KW) Premier Properties associates from Summit / Short Hills chose to “Give Where They Live,” helping to build a Habitat for Humanity home as part of RED Day, Keller Williams’ annual day of service.

RED Day is a KW global initiative dedicated to renewing, energizing and donating to local communities.

Keller Williams Premier Properties Summit / Short Hills spent the day with Habitat for Humanity building a home in Morris Plains for a family in need. Habitat for Humanity builds homes with the belief that “everyone, everywhere, should have a healthy, affordable place to call home. More than building homes, we build communities, we build hope and we build the opportunity for families to help themselves.”

“RED Day is built on the belief that people can and should learn to come together to achieve extraordinary things to help others” said Jacky Elliott, Team Leader, Keller Williams Summit/Short Hills.

RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is a collective service initiative where Keller Williams’ associates volunteer their time to benefit the local community. “It is a one-day expression of the Keller Williams culture recognizing the need to give back to the community in which we live,” said associate Amy Harris, who organized this year’s event.

Since the first RED Day in 2009, Keller Williams associates have given hundreds of hours of community service through activities ranging from food and blood drives to rebuilding homes and schools for community members in need. For more information about RED Day, visit kw.com.
