SHORT HILLS, NJ - Each week of Summer Camp, your child gets to learn about a new topic! During the week of June 27 the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum presents Curious Campers.
Turtle Tots (3 1/2 to 5 years old)
Each day, we will explore the science behind a different topic and how it relates to the natural world through science experiments, demonstrations, games, and hikes outside. We will be discovering how trees grow, rainbows are made, what makes rocks special, symmetry and the adaptations of nocturnal animals.

Explorers (1st-3rd Grade)
Spend the week exploring what science is, the scientific method and learning about the science behind our woodlands! We will play games, observe demonstrations, and perform experiments to learn about how trees breathe, how different household items react with each other, animal adaptations, how volcanoes work, and much more!
Hawks (4th-5th Grade)
We know from school what the scientific method is, so this week, let's put it into practice our skills of observation, making educated guesses, and performing experiments as we discover how birds fly without flapping their wings, make gummy worms dance, how tress drink water, and much more!
