SHORT HILLS, NJ – The Pebble Players will take you back in time to the 80's with this energetic, fun show when hair was big, greed was good, and all collars were up. The Wedding Singer musical guarantees laughs with its new score and 80’s style choreography.
Auditions were held on Sept. 9 for the performances that will begin Nov. 11. Among the selected cast are five Millburn stage veterans.
Lucy Hall played in Millburn Middle School’s ‘Bye, Bye Birdie’, ‘Bring It! The Musical’ and played an ‘Urchinette’ in the 2015 performance of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’.
Emma Hetherington, who was also cast with Hall in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ is no stranger to the stage. Her credits include ‘Annie’, ‘Bye, Bye Birdie’ and has performed in the middle school choir. The MHS sophomore is also a member of the popular acapella group, Soulfege.
Another Soulfege member Matthew Green will be cast in this year’s production. Green played Morris in the Limelight Players production of ‘God’s Favorite’ earlier this year.
