MILLBURN, NJ - The Fleet Week events planned at Millburn High School tomorrow will take place as scheduled. The event will only be cancelled if there is extreme weather. We will send out an alert in the morning if the Marines must cancel.

Marines participating in Fleet Week New York 2017 will fly in and land four Marine Corps aircraft at Millburn High School, at approximately 10 a.m. tomorrow, Thursday (5/25/17).

Don’t be concerned when you hear helicopters overhead!

Millburn High School is the only high school in New Jersey to have been selected this year to host this exciting event in its own backyard.


PLEASE NOTE:

The event will be open to Millburn High School students from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m
 Community members are invited to participate in the events from 1:30 to 3:30 pm
This event includes:
 four Marine Corps aircraft
opportunity to walk through each aircraft and interact with Marine pilots
military working dog display
explosive ordinance robotics demonstration
demonstration of the different weapon systems that are used in the Marine Corps
displays by Millburn Township Police, Fire Department and EMTs
Parking will be available on the front lawn of the school.
