MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn girls basketball team passed its first test in the state tournament.

Millburn defeated Woodbridge, 38-35, in the opening round of the Section 2, Group 4 state tournament on Monday. Kayla Wolf scored 16 points, grabbed four rebounds and passed for three assists for the Millers (18-6).

Rachel Hubertus finished with 11 points and eight rebounds for Millburn, which outscored the Barrons, 14-6, in the third quarter to take a 31-22 lead. Leila Dean Stansberry had six points, four assists and three steals in the victory.
