On June 27, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2015 Honda Civic on JFK Pkwy/Parsonage Hill Rd for maintenance of lamps. The investigation led to the arrest of the 32 year old driver Foday Kamara out of Somerset for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Kamara was released on a summons.

On June 28, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Recinos responded to Neiman Marcus on a theft report. Neiman Marcus personnel report unknown actor/s took 13 articles of clothing valued at $48,100.00 between 7:30-8:30 pm. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 28, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Recinos responded to J lot at the mall on a report of an individual with a shopping bag hiding between vehicles. Officer Recinos found 18 year old Kehan Wang from China hiding between vehicles who then fled. Mr. Wang was apprehended in K lot and found to be in possession of 10 counterfeit credit cards and 2 items valued at $3227.63 purchased fraudulently at Neiman Marcus. Mr. Wang was charged with obstruction, forgery, and theft by deception before being released on a summons.

On June 29, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Hunt responded to a Cypress St residence on a residential burglary. The victim reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s forcibly pushed in the back door and took a purse, laptop, and Iphone from the kitchen. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 29, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to a Cypress St residence on a burglary to vehicle report. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered his 2017 Audi A4 and took an Ipod Nano and a pair of Bose headphones. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On June 29, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Goldfarb responded to a vehicle crash at Main/Taylor. The investigation led to the arrest of 69 year old Barbara Parker out of Vauxhall for driving under the influence. Mrs. Parker was issued summonses for driving under the influence and released on a summons.

On June 29, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to Shoprite on a suspicious person report. Shoprite personnel report 47 year old Randy Moreno out of Newark was in the store and had shoplifted on 2 previous occasions, and had concealed 3 items valued at $27.97 in his pocket today. Mr. Moreno was placed under arrest, charged with 3 counts of shoplifting and remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

On July 1, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Shanahan responded to the Gucci store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Gucci personnel report a black male wearing a green shirt and white/grey pants and a black female wearing a khaki shirt and black pants concealed 3 belts valued at $1090.00 in a bag and left the store without making payment.  The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 2, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to the mall on a theft report. A patron reports accidentally leaving her phone in the seating area outside of Baby Gap, and upon returning a few minutes later discovering it missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 2, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Royce was patrolling the Trader Joes lot when he noticed 60 year old Luis Cotto out of Millburn slumped over sleeping on a shopping cart. Mr. Cotto was awakened and while speaking with Royce threw a cut straw with heroin residue on the ground. Mr. Cotto was also found to be in possession of heroin and was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin), and possession of drug paraphernalia before being released on a summons.

On July 4, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2005 GMC Yukon on White Oak Ridge/Keats Rd for improper use of high beams. The investigation led to the arrest of 18 year old Noah Peace out of Short Hills for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Peace was issued a summons and released.

On July 4, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Royce noticed 2 men on South Terrace at 2:51 am and pulled

over to speak to them. Alexander Peguero, age 24 out of Jersey City, was found to have an active criminal warrant out of Jersey City and was placed under arrest. Mr. Peguero was turned over to the Jersey City Police Department.

On July 4, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Barbosa responded to the Gucci store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Gucci personnel report a black female wearing a scarf on her head, dark colored shirt, and black shorts concealed a scarf valued at $420.00 in her purse and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On July 4, 2017 Millburn Police Officer Royce stopped a 2000 Honda Civic on Rt 24 East/Hobart Gap for having no front plate and no inspection sticker. The investigation led to the arrest of 31 year old Cory Alleyne out of Irvington and 31 year old Seon Westross out of Newark for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). Mr. Alleyne and Westross were both released on a summons.
