MILLBURN, NJ - Police are searching for a suspect who broke into a home on Berkeley Road on Tuesday afternoon and struck a woman living at the residence.

The victim told police that she encountered an unknown male who had entered the residence through an unlocked door. When she yelled at the intruder to leave, he struck her, stole cash from the home and then fled. He did not present a weapon during the robbery.

The woman was not injured after being attacked.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s with shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a baseball cap, white and gray shirt and dark colored pants. Police searched the surrounding area but did not locate the suspect.
