WAYNE, NJ - The Millburn High School ice hockey team saw its season come to an end in a 3-0 loss to Lakeland Friday night in the second round of the NJSIAA Public B state tournament.
The Millers, who had advanced in the first round with a 5-2 victory over Central Regional, conclude their season with a 17-7-3 record. They won the NJIHL Conference Kelly Division regular season title before losing in the conference tournament final to Gov. Livingston last week.
Spencer Brown led Millburn in total points this season with 32. He had 15 goals and 17 assists. Charles Palmer led the team in goals with 18. Goalie Gabe Nadell posted a save percentage of 96 percent on the season.
