MILLBURN, NJ - The following is the most recent Millburn Police Blotter:

On October 8, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Larcom responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 18 year old Kiarah Ahmad of Newark concealed 2 items valued at $42.00 in her purse and left the store without making payment. Ms. Ahmad was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On October 9, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Larcom responded to the Sephora store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Sephora personnel report 46 year old Charmaine Sinclair of Montclair concealed 2 items valued at $36.00 on her person and left the store without making payment. Mrs. Sinclair was placed under arrest and charged with shoplifting before being released on a summons.

On October 10, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Laverty responded to the Millburn Train Station on a suspicious person report. The investigation led to the arrest of 41 year old Joseph Underhill of Morristown for possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia (crack pipe). Mr. Underhill was issued a summons and released.

On October 10, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Pinero responded to Bloomingdales on a theft report. Bloomingdales personnel report a black male wearing a black shirt with a beige pattern took 16 perfume testers and ran out of the store. The investigation led to the arrest of 33 year old Tyrell Wilford of East Orange on an outstanding Millburn criminal warrant, and 23 year old Javanta Reed of Maryann, S.C. for obstruction. Mr. Wilford was remanded to the Essex County Correctional Facility. Mr. Reed was issued a summons and released.

On October 11, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Zonn responded to the Lacoste store at The Mall at Short Hills on a theft report. Lacoste personnel report 18 year old Mamady Cisse of Washington Heights, N.Y. concealed a sweater valued at $155.00 under his clothing and left the store without making payment. Mr. Cisse was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of stolen property from AT&T, Footlocker, and Ralph Lauren with a total value of $1539.48. Mr. Cisse was issued a summons and released.

On October 11, 2019 Millburn Police Lieutenant Guensch observed a disabled motor vehicle on JFK/Parsonage. The investigation led to the arrest of 51 year old Richard Alexander of Madison for dwi. Mr. Alexander was issued a summons and released.

On October 12, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to the mall on a burglary to motor vehicle report. The victim reports leaving her purse and wallet as well as her mother’s purse and wallet in her 2012 Infiniti FX3 parked in J lot, and upon returning noticing it missing. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On October 13, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Lanni responded to a Ridgewood Rd residence on a theft report. The resident reports sometime during the past week, unknown actor/s took his red Gravity 10 speed bicycle valued at $500.00 from the yard. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On October 14, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Hay responded to a South Terrace residence on a burglary to motor vehicle. The resident reports sometime overnight unknown actor/s entered his 2019 Lexus RX and rummaged through the center console. A resident on Tennyson Drive reports a 2019 Infiniti QX 60 and 2019 Audi S7 were entered and rummaged through in her driveway. Nothing appears to be missing. The incidents are under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.

On October 14, 2019 Millburn Police Officer Kostovski responded to Nordstroms on a theft report. Nordstrom personnel report a black male in his 20’s wearing blue jeans took 2 jackets valued at $2870.00 and left the store without making payment. The incident is under investigation by the Millburn Police Detective Bureau.
