Meeting in Millburn will be 34th Town Hall hosted by 7th District lawmaker
WESTFIELD, N.J. --- Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today announced he will hold a town hall meeting on Tuesday, August 4 in Millburn — his 34th in-person town hall meeting.
Lance is asking for constituent input on the Obama Administration’s deal concerning Iran’s nuclear weapons program. Lance will share his own thoughts on the deal and his considerations as Congress begins to debate the proposed agreement. The Seventh District lawmaker, who chairs the Israel Caucus in the House of Representatives, has reviewed the text of the deal and participated in secret briefings on Capitol Hill. He has also met with dozens of constituent meetings and received hundreds of constituent correspondence providing both insight and concerns about Iran and other national security issues. Lance will devote the town hall to discussing the agreement, its effects on the safety of the American people, our allies and the national security interests of the United States.
