LIVINGSTON, NJ – Kim E. Forrester, CPA/CGMA, Manager, Levine, Jacobs & Company, LLC, became the first female partner at the Livingston-based accounting firm when she was recently promoted to Member of the Firm.

Forrester first joined the firm as a staff accountant and now has more than 25 years of experience.

“We are pleased to announce that Kim E. Forrester has been promoted to partner at Levine, Jacobs & Company,” said Timothy J. Shore, CPA, Co-Managing Member. “She has always been a great asset to our firm, and we look forward to her furnishing superior service to our clients as a Member of the Firm.”

Forrester specializes in audit, business accounting and taxes (corporations, partnerships and sole proprietorships) including doctors, dentists, funeral homes and wholesale distributors. According to the firm, Forrester focuses her practice by working directly with clients on the efficient organization of their accounting records in order to analyze their company’s strengths and weaknesses as well as to prepare their business filings.

“I am privileged to have achieved partnership at Levine, Jacobs & Company,” she said. “The Firm’s philosophy of being client-focused has always been important to me, and I look forward to providing quality service to our clients with understanding and empathy.”

Prior to joining the firm, Forrester rose up the ranks from clerical to supervisory level at Prudential. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA). Additionally, she is a Member of the Pearl Chapter, Eastern Star organization and serves on the Advisory Board of The CPA Club of New Jersey Inc.

Forrester is community minded, having served the First Memorial Presbyterian Church of Dover in various capacities: Chime Master, Member of The Nominating Committee, the Trustee Committee and is a teaching assistant for their Sunday school program.

Levine, Jacobs provides a unique combination of twenty-first century accounting, business consulting and financial planning services to a diverse list of individuals located primarily in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
