MILLBURN, NJ – The entertainment at the upcoming Fall Festival being presented by the Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills includes three diverse but locally grown musical acts.

Anya Parker-Lentz has been making waves on the music scene for a few years already.  While still a student, she has released her debut EP, “The Giving,” to wide acclaim and is being recognized as a talent that is poised and wise beyond her years.

Parker-Lentz first came to our attention when she wrote and performed the song “Mission Possible,” in honor of her friend, Jake Silverman, the inspiration for Jake’s Ride, which has adopted the song as it’s unofficial anthem.

Her performance at the recent “Escape in the Park” concert in Taylor Park was among the highlights of the day and has people looking forward to her appearance at the Fall Festival.

JAJO Music is a New Jersey based electronic music duo composed of two high school seniors: Jason Ginsburg and Joseph Fambrini, who have always had a passion for electronic music and decided to take it a step further by performing live and creating their own sounds.

“We first came together to do a show at Pacha NYC, a highly acclaimed nightclub in the Lower Westside of New York City where we opened for the well-known DJ BL3ND,” said Fambrini.

After getting a positive feedback on their set from that night, the duo decided to head into the studio and work on their own sound.

“We try to make unique sounds that will make people want to dance and we’re always trying to make each show better than the last by reading our crowds and predicting what they want to hear while still adhering to our music taste of course, Fambrini said.

He said that they have learned a lot about music production from the local music school, So.i.Heard House of Music.

“We are constantly trying to improve our sound by tinkering with sounds and exploring fun sample packs. Our goal is to have fun making and performing our music and to see where it takes us,” Fambrini said.

The Band 90 Slope are a group of incoming Millburn High School freshman and township residents.  They perform only original songs written by the band members.

The band members are Jonathan Galen (singer/lead guitar), Robby Aronson (singer, keyboardist), Jonathan Rosen (saxophone/keyboards), Harrison Bloom (guitar), Noah Pascual (bass), Zach Horowitz (drums).  This is the debut performance for this band.

"We are so excited for this performance," Aronson said. "We have not had the chance to play our songs in front of an audience like this before."

Samuel Morgan of So.i.Heard House of Music said that they are extremely excited to sponsor the Education Foundation Fall Festival. So.i.Heard will be providing sound equipment for the performing acts, and raffling off a free month of Private Lessons at the event. All three musical acts performing at the Festival are So.i.Heard members.

“Robby Aronson, the singer of ‘90 Slope’ takes piano and vocal lessons with us.  Anya Parker-Lentz is one of my piano students, and the two members of ‘JaJo,’ Joey Fambrini and Jason Ginsberg are interning with us this fall,” Morgan said.

“Personally, as a graduate of Wyoming Elementary School (2000), Millburn Middle School (2003) and Millburn High School (2007) I am honored to be able to give back to the town that gave me my start in music.”
