For more than two decades, South Orange resident Cataldo J Urso has dreamed of owning his own business. That dream will become a reality when he opens the doors of Happy Feet Children’s Footwear this month.

With more than 27 years of combined merchandising, purchasing and retail experience, Urso is thrilled to be joining the Short Hills business community.  He spent his early career managing a Buster Brown franchise in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, and will carry quality brands that many parents, grandparents, and even great grandparents will know and love, including Primigi, EMU, Boggs, Jessica Simpson, Saucony, Geox, Kenneth Cole, Pediped, Skechers, Lelli Kelly and more for toddlers to preteens.

Urso adds, “I want to bring back to all of the surrounding areas a family tradition of bringing your child to a brick and mortar storefront and experiencing a great, fun and happy experience while buying stylish, quality, expertly fitted shoes, and parents remember……..Happy Feet + Happy Kids = Happy Parents”.

The community has been very supportive of Urso’s venture, and he’s eager to join fellow Millburn Avenue merchants.  He strongly feels this is where he is meant to be; that sixth sense was confirmed when he realized the owner of his rented storefront shares his last name.
