MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn boys' basketball team erased a two-point halftime deficit and closed strong to finish off a 48-40 victory over Verona on Tuesday.

Senior guard Max Jacobs clicked for 10 of his game-high 20 points and handed out six assists in the fourth quarter, when Millburn outscored Verona, 18-12. Jack Schwartz tossed in eight of his 11 points in the fourth quarter.

Matt Abrams scored nine points for the Millers (7-11), who trailed, 20-18, at halftime. Verona is 9-9.
