MILLBURN, NJ - It was one of those games where the first team to score was going to win. And as Millburn battled West Morris Central, Alex Migoya would be the one to provide that goal.

Migoya scored with 23 minutes and change remaining in the second half of an eventual 1-0 win to send Millburn back to the sectional finals. The Millers will face Cliffside Park, a rematch of one of the games in last year's run to the state final.

After the game Migoya spoke with TAPinto and said the win was important for the guys on the team.

"It was huge," Migoya said, as he thanked his teammate for the feed that put him in position to score the game-winner. "I think we played particularly well the entire game and we really wanted it. All of us had this saying that we're going to practice tomorrow. And that mentality is keep with this. We want to keep practicing, we want to keep playing."

For head coach Jason Robinson, the effort his team showed was admirable, but there was still one area he was looking for his Millers to improve in.

"I thought we played under control," Robinson said. "I thought we did a pretty decent job of playing the feet. The only thing is the last twelve minutes if a team is going to push a lot of numbers up and you have a 1-0 lead, i told the guys you have to get a second goal.

"As we move along, teams...get better and better and better, and you've gotta get that cushion and make sure that you do it."

The sectional final will be played at Cliffside Park on Friday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
