MILLBURN, NJ - The star-studded Red Carpet Party at Canoe Brook Country Club on the evening of March 2 was a dazzling show of support for Family & Children’s Services of Elizabeth, NJ. Guests enjoyed enticing food and cocktails while eagerly participating in the popular handbag raffle, which included a much-coveted Chanel handbag, and a silent auction that boasted one-of-a-kind items and experiences, such as a wine tasting for ten and lunch for four with Senator Cory Booker.
The evening climaxed as the lights dimmed, the cameras flashed, and the models sashayed down the runway. The Red Carpet’s featured designer, Sareh Nouri, charmed the audience with eight of her elegant couture gowns. Miss New Jersey USA 2017, Chhavi Verg, opened the show in a Sareh Nouri fuchsia gown and closed the show in a true Red Carpet red gown highlighted with cascading ruffles. The runway was further adorned with fashions from Bloomingdale’s Short Hills, Dressed by Lori of Millburn, Schultz & M. Blaustein of Millburn, and Coleman’s Tuxedos of Millburn. Five of Summit Fire Department’s finest firefighters stole the show as they shed their fire gear on the runway to reveal stylish tuxedos underneath.
