MILLBURN, NJ - In less than one week the Millburn community will come out to celebrate July 4 and the Millburn-Short Hills 4th of July Committee have a full day of fun planned. Kicking off at 9:00 am in Taylor Park and then shifting to Millburn High School at 3:00 pm there are a variety of events all leading up to the main event; the firework show at 9:30 pm.

To open the morning of the 73rd annual festivities, there will be a flag raising ceremony and the presentation of the Patriot Award at Taylor Park followed by the stroller parade. A softball game round out the morning events.

Treats and rides are set for 3:00 pm at Millburn High School. Bands will get revealers dancing and refreshments and food provided by local restaurants  La Strada and Curry Tub along with a host of food trucks including BBQ, grilled cheese, milkshakes, and Hawaiian shaved ice.

At 9:30 pm celebrants will turn their eyes to the skies over Millburn to enjoy the traditional fireworks light show.
