MILLBURN, NJ — The Millburn Girls Basketball team dominated Belleville Thursday, holding their opponents to single digits in a convincing 39-6 win on the court.

The Millers received a balanced scoring attack across the lineup. Julia Saggio led the way with nine points, while Rachel Lutsky and Sofia Momoli joined in with eight and six points respectively. Millburn also saw scoring from Katie Grapkowski and Sophie Gerstein with five points apeice, and two points each for Hannah Meyerowitz, Hannah Osur and Ceci Muller.

Along with their offensive output, Millburn was stingy on the back end as well, limiting Belleville to just six totals points. That defensive showing included a third quarter in which they shut out Belleville to take control of the game.

The win was the season finale for Millburn, and the girls finished with a record of 7-7. But more importantly, they finished on a high note, sending the senior class out in style.
